"Thank you, Arpita, for all of the wonderful ideas, energy, and enthusiasm for music you've brought out in our son. Andrew has been through quite a number of courses with Sesaya! (since he was 3 years old) and has loved every one of them. The 4-part Young Child program was a lot of fun for him, and the learning progressed very clearly, as the lessons were easy to follow, enjoyable, gratifying, and challenging enough to provide him with satisfaction for a job well done. We were delighted the day he was inspired to spontaneously compose (and write down) his own piece of music!! Now he will pick up the instruments on his own, and is eager to go to the next level of music education at the piano (with Sesaya, of course!). Congratulations to Andrew--and also to Arpita for a great job. Well done!

Hello Arpita,
I just wanted to let you know that we will not be able to join you in September for classes because we are moving out of town. I just wanted to say thank you for having us in the Spring. Myles still remembers you and all the songs he learned in Our Time. We listen to the CD often. It was he who reminded me to write today because he walks around the house with a bolt from his play tool work station, saying - just like you do at the end of class -- "Who would like a hand stamp?". I've been stamped numerous times over the past couple of months! Hopefully, we can find something comparable to your wonderful classes to join in this little small town we're about to invade!

Despite having moved to Markham, I have continued taking my son to Kindermusik with Arpita in North York. Arpita is such a fun and loving teacher. Kindermusik has done wonders for my son since he was 3 months old, and his musical and intellectual developments are far ahead of other children his age. I'd say that my secret is Kindermusik, because, frankly, as a busy working mom I have not done much else with my son other than singing and dancing to Kindermusik songs almost daily in the mornings and at night. We have been in Arpita's Kindermusik classes for almost 2 years now and plan to continue indefinitely! I highly recommend Kindermusik with Arpita at Sesaya!

During dinner, Krysten suddenly announces, "I should have stayed in music class." Her mother Robyn looks at her and asks, "why? Do you like it?" "No," replies Krysten. Robyn looks at her in disbelief, not knowing what to think. And then Krysten finishes, "I love it!"

"Initially, my daughter Jordan was apprehensive about attending her Kindermusik Our Time class, but after just one class with Arpita, she is now asking each day if today she will be going. I am just thrilled at how much Jordan is enjoying the classes, and impressed that she sits quietly to listen to the stories in that group setting. She is acquiring skills that will be invaluable for preschool. It just doesn't get any better than that!"

"Hannah is so excited about gong back to Kindermusik, and asks everyday "to go to Miss Arpita's class." I have resorted to doing music class with her everyday when I get home from work, just so she will eat dinner. We use the CD's, books and instruments in our "classes" at home. We are so looking forward to Saturday. It will not come fast enough!

"Both my daughter and son have been Arpita's students since the Sesaya studio launched. When they started Kindermusik, my son in particular was rambunctious, excitable, and intent on doing his own thing. Now, only a few sessions later, he has gained discipline and focus, and participates enthusiastically in his Imagine That! class. The difference is amazing! I am confident that my children are acquiring a good music vocabulary and a strong foundation for future piano lessons.

I recommend Arpita's Kindermusik program to everyone I can! Arpita is a great teacher, wonderful in her ability to teach the children as well as explain the learning objectives to their parents. "Our older daughter, Corinna, is difficult to put down at night on the best of days. That Thursday evening she was her usual lively self, and for fear of adding to her excitement, I deliberately did not tell her that we had Kindermusik the following morning. Otherwise, she would have been up until midnight, all the while singing 'It's our time...'.

"My daughter, Emma simply loves attending her Kindermusik Village classes every week. Since she started, my husband and I have noticed how she lights up when she hears her Kindermusik songs played at home. On Friday mornings I wake Emma up a half hour early so she can have a nap before we go to music class. On one particular morning, my 'tried-and-true' methods were not working; she simply would not wake up. I thought about how she loves her Kindermusik songs, so I began to sing the 'Heigh-Ho Hello' song her. Immediately, a big smile came to her face, and her eyes opened wide with anticipation! What a moment!

Arpita provides a fun and positive atmosphere to every class, and it is evident that she puts a lot of thought and time into preparing each lesson. You can tell that she loves what she does. "Arpita, we are amazed at how rapidly our daughter Zoya has progressed, especially linguistically, since she started attending your Kindermusik Our Time classes. Before these classes, she barely spoke, but now, she talks a lot more and is constantly using new words.

Arpita, thank you once again for the wonderful Kindermusik classes that you provided for Kate and me.  The small group setting was ideal for helping Kate to overcome her shyness and enjoy participating in a group situation.  Your warm and encouraging style allowed us to have fun and enjoy experimenting with the different kinds of musical experiences presented throughout the unit. As a speech-language pathologist I noticed the program was well-organized  for developing listening comprehension and social communication skills.  As a parent I believe that the program's themes and songs have helped integrate music into our daily lives. Thanks again for everything.

What a great class! My children learned about all types of music, expressing themselves both orally and phyically, and had so fun much doing it that there was true excitement about Arpita’s Kindermusik class.

I first met Arpita three years ago when we were both Kindermusik parents. She was absolutely taken with the program; so much so that she felt it was her vocation to carry on this important tradition. Arpita is an amazing teacher. Her teaching looks effortless, and that is because her lessons are well-planned and meaningful. She has given me a powerful gift: a chance to participate and learn as my children participate and learn.

Kindermusik has helped to form a strong music appreciation in my son. He continues to sing along with and recognize the music from the home CDs long after the classes are over.
